England.
Here in England it is mid summer, a time that should be spent making images but tends to be taken over by the British obsession for gardening.
Whilst I enjoy gardens I am lucky that my wife is the one who spends virtually every spare moment labouring tirelessly to turn our patch of wild countryside into a paradise of colour and scent.
For those of you that are not familiar with an English summer; our Tourist Board would convince you that it is sunny and warm everyday, that cricket is played on every village green and that Pimms is drunk to the sound of tennis balls being returned across the nets at Wimbledon. In truth it is all of these these, however the Tourist Board fail to mention that it is also characterised by a fair amount of rain,(hence the fact that the countryside is so green here). For those us that prefer to be making images this can be frustrating, but as the gardeners stoically say ..... its good for the garden !
